  Energy Crisis? How to solve your personal energy crisis

How do I know about the personal energy crisis? Every day, in my practice I witness it: children who are too tired to play; couples, ardent for one another, who are too tired for intimacy and others so worn out by work that all they want to do at the end of the day is go home and watch TV or sleep. Too many of us are exhausted, overweight and old before out time. Enough of the problem – let’s turn this pattern around! You can move out of crisis and into energy balance.
  1. Reduce your technology time: shut off your cell phones for one hour a day; read and answer emails at set-times during the day (not all day long); relegate video gaming to one prescribed time per week.
  2. Simplify your schedule, do fewer things.
  3. Improve your diet. Keep a food diary of what you eat and how you feel after meals. Cut out foods that tire you and reduce the amount of fast food you eat.
  4. Shop on-line instead of at malls.
  5. Exercise
  6. Meditate
