Born and raised in a small farmtown in Highland, Illinois, Stephen earned his bachelors degree in Exercise Science at Illinois State University &  his Doctorate in Naturopathy from Clayton College.

As a personal trainer and seeing joint dysfunction as well as muscle compensation, he looked for a deeper answer for himself as well as his clients. Muscle Activation Technique (MAT) became a great tool to access and corrects the muscular imbalances that lead to pain and dysfunction. As Stephen continued to learn, he added many other techniques to his treatments. It was finally ABC then that had all the answers to structural health care and was able to truly promise every thing that it claimed to do consistently and predictably. 

Stephen Spencer is also a biomechanics consultant for several other personal trainers, corporate fitness facilities, and gyms. He lectures at Chicago area doctors’ offices, support groups, and personal training studios.

Elda Du Plesis – specializes in reflexology, reiki and natural healing
Elda is a Certified Health Consultant, Reflexologist, Energy and Light Worker and Reiki Master Teacher.Her metaphysical journey began in the late 1970s.She has written three workbooks that serve as additional tools for her students and friends.She is currently teaching and seeing clients from various locations in the Chicago area.

Jennifer Petersen - MAcOM, LAc, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs
Jennifer received her Masters In Science of TraditionalOriental  Medicine from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.  She lived in Hiroshima, Japan for two years, where she first learned  about the art of acupuncture and was able to experience the benefits of Oriental medicine firsthand.  She has practical experience treatiung ailments ranging from acute pain management to anxiety and stress management, women's health, gastrointestinal health, as well as fybromialgia and insomnia.  Jennifer is also in NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association)trained and certified.  Depending on the circumstances she usually supplements her acupuncture treatments with Sotai massage or Tuina massage and other Oriental medicine modalities, including herbal medicines.  Please view my interests
